Planning a holiday in the Maldives can be an exciting and memorable experience. Therefore proper Maldives travel guide is important. Now it is open for all and there is no travel restrictions in Maldives.
Maldives is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, turquoise blue waters, and luxurious resorts. Maldives lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 750 kilometers from the Asian continent's mainland.

Our journey starts from Bangalore and we booked a Go-Air flight (round trip). You can get a good rate from various airlines partner. Try to take a window seat because you will enjoy the islands while approaching the Maldives and the view is very beautiful.
We booked our hotel earlier and from Male we took speed boat to reach the Mafusi Island. There are private Islands are also there but those are costly.
Note: Alchohol or cigarette is only available on private islands not on public islands or places at Maldives. Even you cannot carry it from outside.

Visa Process - How to apply for visa by own
Travellers from most countries are granted a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival in the Maldives. However, please note that immigration regulations can change, so it's essential to check the latest requirements before your trip. This is a traveler's dream destination. In terms of visa, a Tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to Maldives. As such, travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval for the visa. However, the person must satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival.

Guidelines for obtaining a visa for the Maldives:
A valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining.
A return or onward ticket, showing your departure from the Maldives within the visa validity period.
Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stays, such as bank statements or a credit card.
Visa on arrival: Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé, proceed to the immigration counter. Present your passport, arrival card (what you have filled in on the IMUGA website), and other required documents. The immigration officer will stamp your passport with a 30-day tourist visa, which is typically free of charge.
On the IMUGA website, you have to fill up twice - 1. while Travelling to Maldives & 2. While Departing from Maldives. Both times you need to show this to the immigration officer.

Foods are good really good and we found lot people from Bangladesh We felt a homely atmosphere. The traditional cuisine of Maldivians is based on three main items and their derivatives: coconuts, fish, and starches.
